My Pilot Life - Chapter By Chapter II MPL resumed...
Captain Chandran dropped a message, by telling me what time and where to meet him, of course to travel to KL for our exam, he is a good person, humble, and full of care, talk about him. He is really a good guy by always remind me how's my flight training progression, what should I do, yea he is part of my angel, so called a guardian :) thank God for sending him beside me,..
Well, in that 3 weeks times, what I have studied was HPL, and by doing all the question paper of Air Law, repeated... daily, each subject took about an hour... I'm lacked of time on that period of time! ( well, I have upcoming 3 subjects which left 9 days only... To study 5 books! I can do it :)
And so, before I off to exam, was my morning shift, reached home about 6pm and get the things done, revised and took a power nap, woke up at 130am, in a lacked of sleep situation as I gotta meet Captain Chandran at 3am, I get myself things packed, my books - Passport and so other accessories, get to go, took a cab and waited him at Marsiling station as the meeting point, reached there 230am, surfed Facebook and tried to get myself awake by watching some funny video, I heard someone still doing the cleaning for the cafe near the mrt station and two engineers were fixing the escalator, minutes passed after I have texted Captain Chandran, he appeared in front of me with a cigarette stick on his mouth, we have a chit chat about our own studies, we understand each other well by just one thing - tired! But we stay strong enough, because of the exam we need to sit... We began our road journey... I shall say we began our exam journey, passed through the Singapore custom then Malaysia custom, we didn't talk much initially, yea... As I only meet him just few times, probably this will be my third times? Although we used to text on whatsapp, seen doesn't well known each other! Guess what? Slowly, we got into a silent hill journey, where only can see the light reflection from opposite direction, so we started to have a conversation, about his daughter, his career, most of topics on him, he joined the club earlier and the history of the club before and after Captain William took over, financial issues and so... By listening his explanation, do make sense on certain thing, about how Captain Rafiz got into Singapore Airlines and others, whenever he didn't ask much on my thing, to me, I think he is tired but he stays strong for that because he is a father of one, his daughter is cute by looking at the photo where he pasted beside the aircon , skin kinda complexion, didn't bother much end up found out his wife is a Malay! 0530am, around the time, his iPad rang, a sound of Allah prayer alarm... I didn't bother much or feel any different that time but I suspect, why an Indian will listen to those Malay Quran, 0600am about that time, it rang again and he switched it off and suggested he wanna have a rest, he totally didn't talk much about his background, so I met another high private confidential guy same as Rafiz, as a guy, be a guy, be confidential... So we stopped by a resting zone, he went for a smoke by asking what I wanna eat, I didn't feel eating in that time where I only sleep 2 hours... Went for washroom, and so he began his prayer... Yes, he doesn't take pork and he is Indian Muslim, now only 4 persons know about his background, two instructors and President, and myself! Of course Im not that kind of busy body person, so just live my life by pretending don't know, you know what, my workplace all is guy, and most of the time, they like to gossip among each other, hey this is natural, but they are over... What I say just now as a guy, be a guy, be confidential, now with another word, be high profile :) We continued our journey, about 730 am we stopped by another resting zone, I had my breakfast - Roti Canai, yes the original taste where I can taste the real ingredients, butter egg marinated... Yum! Well, he went for his second prayer and came back for breakfast too, and he told me that we were near the Academy... Yeap, just few more kilometers from his GPS, we reached the Academy but before that we lost in some direction, must trust the GPS, that's the advance of technology! The Academy was located outskirts of the city, obviously nearby airport where the airport is far from the city in how many kilometers, gotta take express train for up to 28 minutes lol! We exchanged our identity card, and went into the campus, nice hostel and hall, the Academy divided into 3 building, the canteen, the hall and the instrument hall ; Captain Chandran parked his car, we settled down abit, I took a nap and he went for shower and brushed up on his upcoming exam, I'm the first who needed to sit - Air Law at 9am, about 830am I awake and study for what I have missed out... Captain Chandran shown me where was the examination hall, sent a best regards on my exam, and yeap! That's it... Blurred mind went in, blurred mind came out, he told me not to review the exam I have sat, proceed my next upcoming exam revision, he went for his two exam paper which straight without stopped, meantime I studied my next HPL, my confidence subject :) end up we did together and have lunch together too :) Is 2pm, we are ready for the last paper of the day will be out aircraft type rating paper 😀, I didn't spend much on this, so I tried to memorize all the answer as much as possible, what Captain Amira texted me before the exam, she advised us must read all the questions, 76 questions, I read half about 40 questions and both of us stepped into examination hall.... " You may begin your paper! For aircraft type rating is 30 minutes! " the examiner claimed, I flicked the exam paper which was so thick, 76 questions! EXACTLY THE SAME Question paper what Captain Amira gave to us... By 30 minutes to complete all 76 questions, you gotta be kidding me 😂, examiner approached Captain Chandran, by advised him left 5 minutes, he shown him the questions paper we had and the front page of paper instruction, we have 1 hour to complete the paper... He walked away... I scratched my head, asking myself why I didn't study for that? Only half paper I have went through.... How is the remaining questions? Plus my air law totally lost of confidence, number of questions I didn't know, anywhere I gotta work all of them, still praise to Lord giving me the strength to choose the right answer! Yay, Amen thank God! That's it, we finished the papers is about time to leave, we both stay awake for hours, almost one day without any proper sleep, we reached JB around 9pm, he tried to buy milk powders for his daughter, have a little chit chat about his little daughter, yes! He dropped me at The same station which he picked me up this early morning, thanks to him again, he left and so do I, gotta rushed home for my midnight shift... Of course Im a survivor on those few days, all praise to Lord giving me strength :) So will continue more for more remaining papers and so! Fly high and God Bless
