Tuesday, 8 September 2015 #throwback of Hong Kong - The Island Hong Kong, an island which double capacity of Singapore, full of mountains, building was built on the mountain, highway to and from and of course, Chinese signboard :) The weather on March in Hong Kong felt cold ( to me) is as low as 18 degrees in the night, morning with sunshine is about 22 degrees, love that weather... Windy and breezy! Lantau island, where Hong Kong international airport located , and the place I need to explore and survey too, as the job which Mr Daniel offers is based in airport, so I met Hazry at Arrival hall A, he brought me to carpark by showing me the way and remind me in future whatever he wanna fetch me, just follow the way he is currently showing... A family car, with baby chair behind - fitted, and we started our journey to home, where was located at Kowloon :) - tsim sha siu , was really journey unlike singapore from one place to another, took about 35 - 40 minutes,from lantau island highway, cross over the high bridge, pass through the tunnel, another intersection of highways where can see huge harbour... We stayed in a condo, where really a standard condo - feels like hotel lol, I can't recall what's the building name I have stayed but I knew 101 skyline building just nearby us... Hazry gave a hand raise to the security guard, we found our car park lot, got my all luggage off from car,took the lift up and walked a short distance... Reached the condo lobby where someone will open the glass door ( really, seem like the five stars hotel services.... Well,I'm not in 5 stars hotel but just the service and structure looks alike), don't know which floor I stayed - probably 27 floors? Can't really recall on that, the house looked gorgeous, nice decorated and clean! There are 4 rooms included one bedroom for maid unfortunately her washroom was converted as store room and 2 bathrooms so one was attached with master bedroom, Hazry's room has two single bed and two huge cupboard, most of the compartments have stored his dry food such as Maggie mee, coffee 3-in-1, milo which can't find in Hong Kong,... Really can't find, why I said that? Because they didn't sell that!!! ( Other country, what I can expect?) He made for me a cup of coffee, have a little chit chat and we traveled back to office, along the way, we talked a lot, about Hong Kong life, weather, food , people and the last one is tourist attraction part :) Talk about Hong Kong, when comes to food - is all about traditional of Dim Sum, while comes to tourist attraction - ocean park and Disney land! I didn't manage to go both of the attraction due to my layover for this trip kinda short somemore I was there mainly for working purpose - to understand the working environment and work flow, my job function as well ; we reached Lantau island, he made a refill and told me Cathay just established a new cargo handling center - one of our competitors plus another handling agent too...  Well, our part handling kinda huge Airlines such as Singapore Airlines, Scoot, United Airline and so...  ( can't recall much), he took for a lunch at the canteen, he seem so bored for the canteen's food, to me so fresh and so many of choices... I told him my money left at my luggage, didn't with me... End up, he treated me first meal.... " Don't worry, you are a tourist, I will pay for you every meal you order! " " Paiseh....  " I replied " Why paiseh? "He claimed " I do believe you didn't bring much money with you,  let me pay for you, just order what you want to eat! " We both have a same meal.... Sliced beef Maggie mee soup with egg, Emmm...  I don't take beef, I do once awhile, just dont like the taste... He didn't finish his meal, understand his boredom of canteen's food here, everyday the same, 6 days up to a week... By looking at the construction of bridge nearby Lantau island, he said that the bridge will link to Macau in future, that will be so much convenience to all, by looking at the canteen, most of the people looked so tired, lacked of happiness but just keeps on finding a way to have a better life! Hong Kong, to me, such a beautiful place and island, To the citizen out there, they maybe so tired of their life, living in high expenses but low income, too much of foreigner invested on housing, the citizens - majority don't have their own house but rent it, sound ridiculous but that's a fact, government didn't take care of their own citizens hence by looking forward developing the country into a city - a busy and expensive city... Finished my super full meal, he have himself a short break - smoking break, I'm looking at the cable car where it linked to one of the attraction - something Buddha prayer thing, he lead me to his office, greeted his supervisor, handover me his ex-colleague's laptop which long time didn't use, haha... Here comes the challenge where he gave me silently, well I do note that, I do my best on that... " Do you have the password? It needs password to access! " " I don't know that but I can help you ask, is belongs to the previous operation manager... " " Ok, I can try for that too " He gave a lot of different password, Unfortunately I can't access,end up I plan to modify the laptop, he allowed me, I find my way from my smartphone - through Google - through a lot forum QnA and so... Still, can't make it! " How is the thing goes, are you able to access the laptop? " He asked me by flicking his cigarette on the ashtray, " Not really but I found someway to modify, still processing... " " ok...  " Well, never give up is the best team spirit in part of the organization. At last, he gave one of the password which totally can access... Im like totally feel like in silent hill... I don't tell him off for trying to give me such a test, haha, I can read his mind ( hehehe...  Cmon I act blur le...) So I packed my laptop home, and we headed downtown for a walk and dinner :) That would be a good days night on my first day arrived in Hong Kong, experience and explored so many places! I shall say - Hong Kong Awesome!
